Description: CH&E Construction (as Construction Manager) invites your firm to bid this project, which consists of sitework, paved parking area and construction of a new 59,000 SF, three story (with partial basement) structure on a cleared brownfield site in Marietta, PA.

The building will house fifty-six senior apartments and associated common areas, laundry back-of-house spaces, elevator, etc. "Typical" casework, storefront, D/F/H, finishes will apply throughout. The structure is to be a conventionally wood framed/sheathed entity atop a poured concrete/CMU foundation. The exterior veneer is a combination of brick, fiber-cement siding, cellular PVC trims with vinyl windows.  The roof – depending upon location – involves both asphalt shingle and standing seam metal systems. Complete mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and electrical systems are part of this contract. Some finishes and select MEP elements are designed to meet PHFA "Green" criteria. Work is to commence in December of this year.

A twelve month construction duration is anticipated. Value Engineering ideas will be greatly appreciated and considered.

Notes:
1. We are accepting proposals for scopes of work in divisions 2-16.
2. There are no Prevailing Wages on this project.
