Description: The project consists of a 101,500 SF renovation of Ganser Library, a new entrance addition of 1,800 SF, three separate classroom additions totaling 2,500 SF, a reading room addition of approximately 600 SF, a staff entrance addition of 600 SF, four interior mechanical/electrical mezzanines totaling 3,000 SF and the infill construction of exterior space at the existing mechanical floor totaling 4,200 SF. The entrance addition consists of a café, 24 hr. accessible area and a Lounge/work Area where library services can be accessed through network connections. Staff offices and work areas are also reworked. Building renovations include ADA compliance, restroom upgrades, improved elevator access to all floor levels, and general finish upgrades. Technology-rich classrooms and reconfigurable spaces will improve current and future learning opportunities. Landscaping is included around the areas of the entrance additions.
