Ed Kosoff - Chief Estimator

Family: Wife Jessica, Daughters Maya (14), Jackie (11), Lily (10), Lucy (3), Sadie (1)

Education: Radio/Television/ Communications degree from Ithaca College/Onondaga Community College

Background: Began as a teenage laborer for his Dad’s construction company in New York State - before, during and after college. Moved into a construction management position as an estimator/project manager in 1985. Ed was a Senior Project Manager when he left New York in 1997 for Pennsylvania. Before landing at CH&E, Ed spent time with other construction firms in South Central PA as a Senior Estimator.

Hobbies: Fitness training, jogging, attending his daughters’ array of activities (dance class, soccer games, theatre, etc...)

Philosophies: Ed is inclined to hearken back to select adages in his daily activities. These include “Practice simplicity with constant repetition and you’ll do alright” (Coach John Wooden) and “Sometimes you’ve gotta do things you don’t like” (Mike Kosoff - Ed’s dad)

Did You Know? While acting as an extra in the film ‘Girl Interrupted,’ Ed was in several scenes with Angelina Jolie. Since college, Ed has dabbled in a number of similar acting endeavors, both local and national.
