“I’m sure in your business, as in ours, most often feedback comes in the form of “constructive criticism.” I just wanted to take a moment this morning to thank you and the CH&E team for going above and beyond to make the Crossway Church project successful. This is the first time in a very long time that I feel like architect and contractor are working together as a team and have each other’s best interests in mind.
Ed Kosoff has gone well beyond the call of duty in his estimating. I’ve never experienced anything other than his cheerful disposition even as recently as this week when the client requested some additional estimates for future additions and fit-out of the lower level. Ron Stiger and Jim Kish have been enthusiastic since day one about producing a product of superior quality. They’ve grasped our design intent and have had our backs when it comes to how details are executed. We’ve run into hic-ups along the way (as is to be expected) and instead of looking to point fingers or to hide potential problems, they’ve faced them head on looking for appropriate solutions and refusing to sacrifice the integrity of the building. We often find ourselves forced to play the role of the “bad guy” fighting for a “decent compromise” or a “less-than best” solution. Since Ron and Jim have clearly taken the approach that we are all on the same team there has been no “bad guy”.
We’re about half way through this building project and I know there will be other challenges ahead and more problems to solve, but your team has inspired complete confidence and I look forward to not only working through those challenges together, but also working on future projects together. So, a heartfelt THANK YOU to you and your team!”
